Episode 56. What do you do when s#!% hits the fan?
Today’s big question with a short answer is: What do you do when it all hits the fan?
People are often conditioned to act like nothing’s wrong. I used to overcommit myself, then pretend everything was fine or simply block out my negative feelings (often with unhealthy habits). It took me a long time to learn how to process my feelings in a healthy way. I allow myself simply to feel them; then, use that fire to make a change.
At the end of the episode, I share a tip one of my colleagues taught me on how to handle difficult feelings in a way that lets you move forward productively.
